Bonita Powell – Wenden resident, artist and owner of Courtyard Galleries. “I wanted a studio to work in and fell in love with an old motel. I got carried away and now have a whole gallery with lots of artist friends. Courtyard Galleries has been one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever undertaken”. Bonita’s art is adventurous, very unique and adds beauty to our main street.
De Vona Saiter – Wenden resident and owner of Mas Paz. Her art is a reflection of her world experiences and joy of celebrating all cultures. Her art varies from murals, decorative items, recycling furniture…especially chairs. Mas Paz shop is her artistic stage to showcase her diverse creative talents and her love of Wenden.

Goya -Long term resident of Wenden and full time artist, Goya has been successful selling her art for decades. Her bottle art, peace art and salvage art can be found in homes around the world. Goya’s free Latina spirit can be felt in all her pieces. Her art is at Mas Paz and Courtyard Galleries.

Rhonda Tipton – Rhonda is a photographer from Houston, Texas and with a newly purchased property, will soon make Wenden her home. Her work includes a wide range of subjects such as portraiture, events and landscapes; however, she feels here purpose on this Earth is to tell the stories of those without a voice through her pet, animal Shelter and rescue photography. www.tiptoncreative.com

K.S. Howard – Long term resident of Wenden, K.S. Howard has contributed to the beautification of Wenden with his landscape talents and his various forms of artwork. His Tee Pees are crafted in a primitive manner that reflects natural beauty and form. He crafts with found objects and gives them new life. Mas Paz’s backyard showcases his talents and also at artist Goya’s residence.

Susan Brown – “I am a poet and a painter of days illuminating abstract by natural design”. Her work is showcased under the name Studio B and she is an active artist onsite at the Courtyard Galleries. She has touched many lives over the years in the Wenden area and her customers and friends welcome and cherish her return every winter.

Terri Cody – A part-time Wenden resident and a well known artist for her fun and colorful pottery. Her work often brings a smile or chuckle to one’s lips. She was owner and resident artist of “Out of Hand” gallery in Seattle for most of the 1990’s, then move to a small farming town in eastern Washington in 2000. You can find her work at Courtyard Galleries here in Wenden.

Jeri Baumgardner has recently arrived to Courtyard Galleries with her unique and colorful hand-painted silk. Whether its a scarf or a wall hanging, Jeri’s will brighten your world. Jeri was the proprietor of ‘IN HER IMAGE GALLERY’ in Portland, Oregon for 15 years, and now brings the magic of her silk to her winter home in Wenden.
